Bishop Elementary School

On February 7th, all Bishop Elementary students and staff participated in Art for the Sky. Art for the Sky has come to our school twice before. The event was organized by Tracey Taylor, one of our fabulous front office secretary’s, and was funded by generous local organizations and businesses such as Altrusa, Bishop Sunrise Rotary Club, Bishop Paiute Tribal Council, Inyo County Probation, Rock Creek, Mountain Apparel, and High Country Lumber.  A big shout out to the Bishop Fire Department and Laughing Parrot productions for providing  amazing aerial shots, and to parent and community volunteers for helping coordinate the event. Art for the Sky is a unique and fun team building activity for schools.  Bishop Elementary School's Jackrabbit  is made up of over 870 students, parent volunteers, and staff!
